1911 Anwoth Census, Fleet Street : John W. Wilson (13, born Anwoth) with widowed grandfather John, his aunt (or mother) Christina + 3 uncles: James, John and David Wilson. His grandfather John was a quarryman.

A Family tree on www.ancestry.co.uk states that John William Wilson died on 13/02/1941 at Girthon. His mother was Christina - no father given. He married Sarah Scott MacDairmant (1899 - 1948).
Anwoth Banns: John William Wilson of Fleet Street, Anwoth married Sarah Scott McDairmant of Girthon on 30/11/1928.
One of John’s uncles was soldier David McN Wilson above.

Robert had two half brothers - Alexander Stewart or Wilson and Adam Airley who were also soldiers and were killed in the war.

Girthon Gravestone : In loving memory of Edith MacDonald Cumming beloved wife of William Worrall who died 11th October 1960 aged 64 years. Also the above William Worrall who died 7th Feby 1975 age 80 years.

ex 'adopted nephew' Julian Frullani  :  William Worrall served with the Highland Light Infantry and he was born at Barton, near Preston, Lancashire. His father worked on the railway, and his mother's maiden name was Neil. Willie was a Lance-Corporal and seved in France and Germany
